Our Story
A joyous eatery inspired by the culture of Indian cuisine
Pongalur Sri Annapooranis Sweets Products is a fast growing traditional sweet shop in Coimbatore. We specialise in authentic sweets and savouries. In the year 2005, it all started as a small outlet at Pongalur specialising in Dhal Poli, Coconut Poli, Athirasam , Laddu, jilebi, Mysurpa, Ribbon Pakkoda, Thattai Murukku, Murukku Varieties and Mixer managed by Suganthi and her mother Jayalakshmi.
In a span of 19 years we have flowered into 11 locations upon customers request in and around Coimbatore. We have expanded our product range to Pickles, traditional podis, vegetable vathal, rice vadagam, millet cookies, chikki varieties including thean Mittai, Inji Mittai.
We have also developed centralised kitchen to enhance the taste and quality of the products. The kitchen is also automated to ensure hygiene and better production quality.
The scrumptious sweet Poli otherwise known as Opattu comes in two variants dhal and coconut which are liked by all customers. Even the caterers prefer this in their menus. We have ensured that all our outlets will have a same ambiance both inside and outside to avoid customers getting cheated with fake brand names. The commitment we show towards the quality has brought in huge customer satisfaction.
